5 Star Roofing is an excellent company. There may, possibly, be other companies as good but nobody better. Ollie Rowe, owner, did an inspection of my roof soon after I contacted him. He gave me a ballpark figure for the cost of a new roof and followed with a written detailed report itemizing the cost of materials and labor. He was clear about not being able to give a final cost because of possible hidden wood damage. Some wood had to be replaced and the additional cost was very reasonable.

I never saw anyone just standing around. They were very competent and professional. When they left there was absolutely nothing left behind such as nails, general debris or trash. Impressive!

Mr. Rowe arrived with a crew of 8 employees. I had never seen such energetic workers. Except for a short lunch break they worked until dark. They removed shingles & felt, replaced some damaged wood, removed & replaced the drip line and added a cricket for my chimney. Several vents were removed and replaced. New flashing was replaced around the new vents and chimney. New felt & shingles were put on the roof. Ice Guard was put in the valleys. This is a 1650 square foot house with two valleys.
The process of replacing the roof on our home was similarly amazing. Your crew removed 3 older roofs and replaced it with a modern shingle roof that was a perfect complement to the appearance of our home in a single day.
Our barn that you built exceeded our expectation. Your crew, from ground breaking to completion in two and one half days, is a testament to your collective skills. It is a beauty that has increased the overall value of our property. In addition, when we built our loft, we discovered that the structure you made was absolutely plumb and square. This made our addition a much simpler job, and was a level of precision that we have not seen in any of our properties.
