If a lot more people would get off thier Butts

Yorktowne is about 50 plus years old, The past few years here Yorktowne has had a lot of things happening that it never had before. People that want more for this community, so let me help some out here, past 2 year you've had a president that doesn't need anything from Yorktowne, in fact he has fire department bring smoke alarms out for resident, Ku.lge came and insulated , sealed duct work for about 120 homes here Free meaning it cost Yorktowne Nothing, last year and this year kids have had Easter egg hunts, activities, outside Movies's,

Cost Yorktowne Nothing.also painted park equipment. Going from nothing and I am gonna tell you that a small group of people that have. E so generous and giving of thierself for the enjoyment for and of this community and for the kids here.

Nice in the country, great place to live, if you want to buy a trailer they have them for sale by owners just a all around nice place to live.

And pitch in this community could thrive and have more he begged for people to help paint the park for the kids, a total of 5 people including hisself we the only ones that came out and helped.

The roads need help call the county they are in Charge of the. Roads talk to magistrate maybe they will take county into tiding them up

Neighbors on top of each other and the sewage pond it awful

Cool place

I lived here as a teenager and it was really nice back then, now it's still by far the best trailer park in the city of winchester but it has its issues. The bored refuses to do anything when a lady who is staying with her daughter liturally screams and yells at children, calls kids with autism the "2 retarded kids" and then will sit on the porch all day and nod out... the old lady and her grandson have had the cops out here on them no less then 10 times in the year I have been back. My wife and I have 5 kids between the two of us and we can't let the older kids go out and play on the deck my dad and I built that is the length of the house because we are afraid the lady will start screaming at them and I will end up having to go off on her and that's something I don't want to do. But other than her and her family my other neighbors are very quite and respectful. The roads could use a little tending to and the park could have a few more things added to it. We pay a decent amount of dues but yet they still closed the pool, the basketball goals are old and raggedy and don't even have nets. Oh another good thing is now you are able to submit plans and build onto your home, have a garage and even have a huge shed. Back when Cora Whitt was the chair person of the board only she could fix her place up nicely while the rest of us couldn't have crap unless you bribed her or something. But thank sweet baby jesus she is gone because if it would have still been her I don't care how good of a deal I got my house for I would have passed lol. But all and all its a trailer park that has some older places that the rent is cheap on so it attracts low income families with 13 kids who they let run wild, it also has some of the most beautiful places I've seen that should be somewhere else lol. They keep the park clean and the grass mowed, they have nice little holiday events for the kids, you can rent the clubhouse for birthday parties and a lot more that make it a not so bad place.

Halloween party for the kids Christmas Party lights up for Christmas on the light post etc.

When we do thing in the community Yorktowne doesn't give anything other than use of club house or the lawn everything is donated by a handful of people and I will tell you these people are amazing we alway seem to work thur thing and make it happen.
